I thought I knew everything there was to know about Baiden Mitten, but…
I have been using Baiden Mitten for few years now, and loving it. My skin has never been better or smoother.
When you use something for that long, you sort of think that perhaps you know everything there is to know about how it works.
Well, I was in for a surprise. Few days ago I got this review on Amazon from Jessica Carter:
"I bought the Baiden Mitten after reading a really great review on prepping for a self-tanning product. The Baiden came highly recommended so I decided to give it a try. I will admit that the price kind of deterred me at first but after I read that it would last at least 2 years, I realized I would get my moneys worth out of it. I used it for the first time six days ago and I was completely amazed at how much dead skin (yeah, gross!) came rolling off of my body.If you follow the step-by-step instructions that are included with the mitten (firmly using up-and-down and side-to-side motions) there is no way that this wouldn't work for you. My skin has never felt so soft in my life and even my husband commented on how soft my skin was. After using this mitten, I now know why my lotions never 'worked' - I was rubbing lotion over dead skin and what good does that do!? You only need to use this mitten once a week and I can't wait to use it again tomorrow! I'm so happy I bought this product. I never write reviews on Amazon but I HAD to let everyone know that this purchase is so worth it. Your skin will thank you."
Notice the text I underlined?
So, I decided to give it a try. And....
I first scrubbed side to side with the mitten and THEN up and down.
OMG! That was something else!
The amount of dead skin was a lot more than I ever got before. I got the dead skin rolls even in places where usually I get very little like my feet or the tops of my hands. Talking about squeaky clean! I felt like a newborn.
Mind you, it was a bit of a work out, but when you see all this gunk coming off your body you really get motivated 🙂
The great thing is, it is now over a week later and I don't get the urge to scrub as I usually do when there is a week's dead skin build up. So, perhaps I do not need to scrub every week?
That would be so great because as much as I like my sessions with Baiden Mitten I am in love with the result, not so much with the actual process.
Thank you Jessica Carter for writing that sentence!
